Application: Work for 6.6L Duramax engines with Allison automatic transmissions. Indispensable tool kit for 6.6L Duramax water pump replacement. The flywheel is locked on the transmission to prevent the flywheel from turning effectively. Duramax 2500 & 3500 Flywheel Holder: Used with Duramax 2500 / 3500 pickup. Use toothed pieces only remove metal spring-loaded inspection plate on the bottom of the transmission, then tool should slide into opening toward engine with the top of the tool engaging the teeth of the flywheel.
